The Career Services Office at Columbia College offers employer access to highly motivated students and alumni. We welcome the opportunity to assist you in connecting with students and alumni in order to meet your recruiting needs. We offer many ways to enhance your recruiting initiatives and will work with you in additional ways to engage with our students.

Use
The Career Services office has partnered with College Central Network, a résumé software management program, to offer you a web-based connection to candidates. This feature enables employers to register and list part-time, full-time, and seasonal opportunities at no cost. This also provides employers the ability to search the database for qualified candidates.

On Campus Recruiting
Use on-campus recruiting to interview students at Columbia College. To schedule, please call our office at (573) 875-7425 Mon. - Fri. or e-mail Don Malson or Angi Pauley.

Interview On-Campus
Columbia College On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) Program connects you with a diverse pool of students. OCI is typically used by employers with hiring needs to recruit for internship and entry-level positions. However, it can be used to recruit for advanced experienced positions and for Master Degree consideration. Your position is advertised on-campus through our job boards and academic departments; as well as our on-line website.

On-Campus Interviewing Sessions
Recruit and interview undergraduate and graduate students throughout the academic year.

Information Sessions
Showcase your organization and increase your candidate interview pool by participating in Columbia College information sessions. These sessions allow you to meet face to face with students and heighten their interest in your organization through presentations. Call the Career Services Office to schedule.

Information Table
Representatives from your organization are welcome to discuss employment opportunities with students at Columbia College. The table may be located in Dulany Hall cafeteria or Atkins-Holman Cougar Café lobby. Call the Career Services Office for a time and date.

Build Your Visibility 

  • Company Presentations
    Company presentations complement our On-campus Interviewing Program.  They allow you to communicate directly with students and alumni about your organization, its culture and your employment opportunities.  Presentations may be held throughout the academic year or in conjunction with our on-campus interviewing program.  All company presentations are advertised on the job board, academic departments, and marketed directly to students through e-mail communications.  To accommodate students and alumni work and class schedules and to increase the effectiveness of your presentation, the career center recommends that company presentations be held between 4:30-6:00 pm; unless it is in conjunction with on-campus interviews or classroom presentations.
