Army Green to Gold Program
The Army Green to Gold program is designed to offer enlisted soldiers in the Army the opportunity to earn a commission as an Army Officer. This program offers enlisted soldiers two unique ways to earn a baccalaureate degree:
Green to Gold Scholarship Option
For soldiers who are considering leaving active duty to attend college.
Green to Gold Active Duty Option
For soldiers who want to remain on active duty and attend college. The soldier must be an academic junior and able to graduate within two years.
Someday starts today at Columbia College.
Columbia College is one of a limited number of four-year institutions able to accept participants in the Army Green to Gold program. Upon selection to the program, participants transfer directly to the Columbia College-affiliated Army ROTC program at the University of Missouri and attend the main Columbia College campus in Columbia, Mo. to complete their undergraduate degrees. Their current degree plan remains valid, and no transfer of credits/classes are required if they remain with Columbia College. In effect, while they are completing their application for the commissioning program, they can begin fulfilling the degree requirements necessary for commission.
Get a headstart at achieving your goals.
