Columbia College-Jefferson City is holding a graduate information session Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 4-5 p.m. on the Columbia College-Jefferson City campus located at 3314 Emerald Lane, Jefferson City. This event is designed to provide students information about graduate programs available on campus, online or both. Staff will be on hand to provide information about admission criteria and financial aid.
“I want students in the area to know Columbia College offers convenient, flexible and relevant master’s degrees,” says Becky Bocklage, director of Columbia College-Jefferson City. “Our graduate programs meet the needs of a highly demanding workplace. In addition, the college provides its students and alumni robust career services to assist in the job search.”
Columbia College offers master’s degrees in: business administration, criminal justice, military studies and teaching. Tracks in criminal justice include law enforcement and corrections administration. Tracks in the MBA include human resource management and accounting.
Graduate programs at Columbia College are offered in eight-week sessions starting in January, March, June, August and October. Registration begins Nov. 26. Classes for the January session begin Jan. 14, 2013.
Columbia College-Jefferson City was established in 1974 at the National Guard Armory and began serving the civilian population in 1982. The campus has resided at its current location on Emerald Lane since 2000 and continues to serve civilian and military adult learners in the Jefferson City area.
