Columbia College–Patrick Air Force Base Scholarship
Purpose of Fund: To help one or more students with financial assistance.
Type of Fund:Temporarily endowed, which means both interest and principal may be spent. When the fund reaches $20,000 it will change to permanently endowed, which means that only the interest may be spent.
Method of Funding: Through Annual Fund gifts from alumni, friends, staff and faculty, and adjunct faculty of the site. Also through special, honorarium, and memorial gifts which are site related.

May the gifts be co-mingled, and if so, under what condition?
Distribution details: See Type of Fund above.
Spend the interest and a portion of the annual contributions: If available, at least two $250 scholarships will be awarded annually.
Distribution date: Credited to the account of the student or students as needed
Recipient Award Criteria: The recipient must:
- be a degree-seeking student who is attending the Patrick Air Force base campus.
- be enrolled full-time for the session in which the award is received,
- have completed the residency hours required for the degree that the recipient is seeking
- have an accumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
- provide a one-page written statement of needs and goals
Is the Reward Renewable? Yes, however this is not a requirement.
If, in any Given Year, there are No Qualified Recipients for the Scholarship, What is to be Done with the Funds? The earnings will be reinvested with the principal.
