Description:
The Community and Alumni Relations Coordinator has the primary staff responsibility for representing the campus in a professional and positive manner to the local community and to local alumni thus producing increased awareness and understanding of the college and its programs in the local community.

Duties include, but not limited to:

-Developing and building relationships with corporate and community organizations

-Developing and building relationships with local alumni

-Working with local media

-Assisting the Senior Director of Public Relations and the Campus Director in the overall branding and marketing of Columbia College at the Lake of the Ozarks and the surrounding area

-Establishing a life-long learning program

-Involving community leaders with the campus

Qualifications:
Minimum requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing or related area

-3-5 years experience in public relations or related field

-Excellent writing and communications skills

-Computer literacy

-Ability to interact with a diverse population

Preferred Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the Lake of the Ozarks business community

-Background working in higher education and alumni relations
