Sidney Larson Gallery & Greg Hardwick Gallery, Brown Hall

Alumni, students, staff, faculty and friends are invited to view artwork by:
‘Flat Pop Revisited’ by Daniel Marks ’91 – Sidney Larson Gallery
Daniel Marks’ paintings are inspired by the beauty of seemingly ordinary everyday life. The subject matter for his paintings ranges from cityscapes, to buildings, and nature. Dan’s quirky two and three-dimensional paintings exaggerates form and color creating animation and energy.
Luke Severson – Hardwick Studio
Luke Severson is a sculptor whose work is an exploration of visual communication in the vast collective languages of common symbols, signs, shapes and forms. Both spoken and written language plays a big role in his work. Many ideas start from free literal associations stemming from day to day interactions, jokes, poetry, music and books. Severson’s work communicates through a distinctive visual vernacular, but is grounded in the shared reservoir of visual culture.
