Evening Campus Scholarships

Please see application process and date of award for specifics. Amounts may increase or decrease based on annual assessed value of the scholarship's investment instruments. Scholarships are not renewable unless otherwise stated.

Assisting Women's Achievement Scholarship		Presented to a Day Campus, Evening Campus or Nursing student who is female, age 25 or over with at least a 2.75 GPA.	Complete and submit an Evening Campus scholarship application. Applications are due in early to mid-February.
Assisting Women's Achievement scholarships for Nursing	$3000 per year	Female students, Mid-Missouri resident, US Citizen and 25 years or older enrolled in the nursing program.	Complete and submit an Evening Campus scholarship application. Applications are due in early to mid-February.
Associate Degree Transfer Grant	$375 ($75 per session)	Any student transferring to Columbia College with an associate’s degree may apply for this $375 transfer grant for his or her first year. This grant is non-renewable and is not need-based.	Complete and submit an application for institutional aid.
Carol Frobish Scholarship		Presented to a returning female business major with at least a 3.0 GPA.	Complete and submit an Evening Campus scholarship application.
Centerytel Foundation Scholarship	$300	Presented to students who are residents of Missouri having cumulative GPAs of 3.5 or better. Must show evidence of need. Must be incoming freshman, transfer student, or senior.	Complete and submit an Evening Campus scholarship application. Applications are due in early to mid-February.
Columbia College Nursing Scholarship	$1500 per year	Presented to an outstanding nursing student.	Complete and submit an Evening Campus scholarship application. Applications are due in early to mid-February.
Evening Program Scholarship		Awarded to a student in the Evening Campus, 25 years of age or older, with a 3.5 or higher cumulative G.P.A., who has earned at least 42 credit hours from Columbia College. When more than one student qualifies, G.P.A., financial need, and service to the College or community will be considered.	Complete and submit an Evening Campus scholarship application. Applications are due in early to mid-February.
Frank Westling Scholarship	$500	Awarded to a Nationwide Campus student attending a branch location at the time award is given, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, who has met the residence requirement for the degree being sought.	Complete and submit an Evening Campus scholarship application. Applications are due in early to mid-February.
Jackolyn Lois Barnhouse Memorial Scholarship		Awarded to an Evening Campus student who is a single mother concentrating her studies in Humanities, with a minimum of 24 hours completed at Columbia College and a 2.5 GPA or higher at Columbia College.	Complete and submit an Evening Campus scholarship application. Applications are due in early to mid-February.
Lizbeth Brydges Metscher Scholarship		Awarded to a returning female Evening Campus student 30 years of age or older, who has a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average and who has earned 42 or more credit hours from Columbia College.	Complete and submit an Evening Campus scholarship application. Applications are due in early to mid-February.
Mary Alice Robertson Simon-Merideth Scholarship		Presented to a major in either mathematics or science. Student must have at least a 3.0 GPA.	Complete and submit an Evening Campus scholarship application. Applications are due in early to mid-February.
Mary Isabel Omer Scholarship		Junior or senior Day Campus or Evening Campus students majoring in psychology (counseling) or education (w/strong emphasis in psych). Must have grade point averages of 3.0 or higher and show evidence of need. (Cross-listed with Education and History & Social Sciences).	Complete and submit an Evening Campus scholarship application. Applications are due in early to mid-February.
Robert M. McDaniels Scholarship		Awarded to a returning, full-time, non-traditional Evening student who is 25 years of age or older, has a 3.0 or higher cumulative grade point average and who has earned 42 or more credit hours from Columbia College.	Complete and submit an Evening Campus scholarship application. Applications are due in early to mid-February.
Rose Lamb Accounting Scholarship		Awarded to an Evening accounting student who has 12 hours of accounting with a minimum 3.25 G.P.A.; an overall G.P.A. of 3.0; and evidence of financial need. A Letter of Application stating the student's goals and need for the scholarship must be submitted along with the application.	Complete and submit an Evening Campus scholarship application. Applications are due in early to mid-February.
Silver Citizen Discount	50% tuition reduction	Awarded to students 65 years of age or older. Students are required to pay all other charges in connection with enrollment, coursework and graduation. Not available for online classes. New application must be completed each academic year.	Complete and submit an application for institutional aid.
Two-in-Family Grant	$75 per session	Awarded to full-time students with an immediate family member (parent, child, sibling, spouse) enrolled full-time at Columbia College. Renewable with good academic standing and continued full time enrollment for both family members.	Complete and submit an application for institutional aid. New application must be completed each academic year.
Warranted Degree	One free course	Students who complete a degree at Columbia College are eligible. Eligible students may enroll in one course free of charge if: five years have elapsed since receiving their degree, they owe no fees and are not in default on federal aid loans. Students may enroll for credit or as auditors in courses being offered during the regularly scheduled semesters or sessions, provided space is available and course prerequisites are met. The Warranted Degree program cannot be used for graduate-level or online courses. Students are required to pay lab fees and for textbooks associated with the course. Students are permitted to enroll in one free course in each subsequent five-year period but may not accumulate free courses.	The student must be admitted to Columbia College. (Apply for admission) After they are admitted, they must complete and submit an application for institutional aid.
