Stafford loans are fixed-rate loans available to undergraduates and graduate students who are attending school at least half-time. There are two types of Stafford loans: subsidized and unsubsidized.
Students and parents have the right and ability to select any education loan provider of choice and are not required to use any lender on the preferred lender list. Read how this list was compiled or about the benefits of using preferred lenders.
