Information for Admitted Students

You Made It!

Congratulations! We're thrilled to welcome you to the Columbia College family. Now that you have been admitted, there’s only a few more steps to get you closer to that degree you want. 

The first step? Create your student account. 

  • Go to myPortal.ccis.edu, which is your hub for all academic, financial aid and student records. 
  • Click “First time users: Activate your account.” 
  • Enter your Columbia College student ID and fill in your information to activate your account. 
  • Review eConsent. Agreeing allows you to do business with Columbia College electronically. 

The next steps depend on whether you are admitted to our Residential Campus in Columbia, MO; online or at any of our nationwide campus; or if you are an international student.

Step 2: Verify Your Identity

Submit two photos to Admissions@CCIS.edu:

  • Photo of your government-issued photo ID.
  • Self-image photo of you holding your government-issued photo ID next to your face.

Step 3: Submit Your FAFSA

Many students qualify for Federal Financial Aid to offset out-of-pocket college costs. The first step to receiving aid is submitting the Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) at StudentAid.gov using Columbia College's school code: 002456.

Step 4: Plan Your Semester 

Save your spot at a Quest Day. During Quest Day, you will meet with academic advisors, enroll in classes, and finalize any remaining details for your first semester.

Step 5: Finalize Details In myPortal

  1. Pay your deposit to secure your spot at Columbia College. The deposit will be applied to your first tuition payment.
  2. Complete the housing process:
    • Submit your housing contract
    • Create a roommate profile
    • Select a roommate
    • Choose your residential hall and room style
  3. Submit health records
    • Upload a digital copy of your immunization records from your medical provider or previous school
    • Waive or accept CC health insurance

Step 2: Submit Your FAFSA

Step 3: Register For Classes 

Schedule an appointment with your academic advisors to create a plan for your academic goals and register for classes online through your student account.
