Post-Baccalaureate Admission
Admission Requirements By Program
Applicants who have not completed required prerequisite courses when applying to a graduate program may be considered for post-baccalaureate admission.
Applicants must fulfill all other admissions standards. If admitted under this status, prerequisite courses must be completed with a "B" or higher before enrolling in graduate courses. Once prerequisites are completed, students are eligible for graduate course enrollment.

MAT - Master of Arts in Teaching
The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) post-baccalaureate program is for students who already hold a bachelor’s degree and wish to fulfill Missouri teacher certification requirements.
Certification requirements are established by the Missouri State Department of Education.
Each admitted student's transcripts will be evaluated against these requirements in order to determine the courses the student will have to take for certification in his/her area.
