The Joint Services Transcript is required and the only guaranteed transcript for evaluation. It allows enlisted service members who advance up to and beyond officer status to continue to benefit from updated transcripts. Other military documents may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Coast Guard Degree Pathways Program
The Coast Guard Degree Pathways Program awards academic credit for military training and experience. This credit may be applied toward a degree program to reduce the number of additional credit hours needed for degree completion.
Columbia College offers two degrees in the program, which are available to three ratings: Operations Specialist, Storekeeper and Yeoman.
The Associate of General Studies degree is developed by the student and advisor. Coursework may be from the liberal arts and sciences or from any pre-professional discipline.
The Bachelor of General Studies is designed by the student and advisor and integrates coursework from across the curriculum.

The Chief Warrant Officer Career Degree Program is designed to enhance an officer's professional development and help transition to academia.
Bachelor of General Studies with Management Minor
This program provides participating service members with access to specialized degree maps for the Bachelor of General Studies with a management minor for all 13 warrant officer ratings. Contact MSC@CCIS.edu for degree maps outlining requirements, military transfer credit and other credit that may be earned.
