All newly admitted Day program students are required to attend a CC Quest Day to register for classes for the upcoming semester. During the event, students will select their courses, get their student ID picture taken, learn more about campus resources, meet other new students, and speak one-on-one with a financial aid staff member. Event Preparation

Advance Placement Testing
Classes are filling up quickly. Columbia College uses placement testing to assess students' skills and their ability to meet pre-requisite requirements for courses in English and Math. These exams are offered online to all admitted Columbia College students at no cost, through our Testing Services.
The English Placement Test will provide scores to determine your placement in ENGL 107 or ENGL 133W. The Math Placement Test will provide scores to determine your placement in MATH 104, MATH 106, MATH 110, MATH 150, MATH 250.
What to Bring
- Government-issued photo ID (i.e. driver's license, passport, etc.)
- Required immunization records (needed by the end of first semester).
- Updated transcripts, dual-credit, or other documents for advising
Event Schedule
In the morning, students will complete the check-in process, which includes finalizing housing contracts, and confirming major. Students and their guests will meet one-on-one with financial aid staff to discuss tuition and payments. Students will meet one-on-one with faculty advisors to review classes for the upcoming semester and make necessary adjustments. Admissions staff and student ambassadors will be on-hand to answer your questions about life at CC.
Arrival & departure
Check-in runs from 8:30 AM - 9:15 AM in Atkins-Holman Student Commons, 1st floor. Upon arrival, we will receive your schedule for the morning and informational packet. Please plan to stay for the duration of the event which is expected to end around 12:00 PM.
