Nationwide Ceremonies

Congratulations on reaching this milestone! Juggling between work, home, and the pursuit of higher education hasn't been easy, but your determination has led you to the finish line. Now is the moment to rejoice in all your hard-earned achievements.

If you plan to attend one of our nationwide commencement ceremonies, make sure to complete the tasks below:

  • Sign up eight weeks prior to the ceremony by submitting:
  • Affirm you receive an email from CeremonyConfirmation@CCIS.edu that either confirms that you are registered for the event or provides instructions on what you need to do to complete your registration. All confirmations will be sent out at least eight weeks prior to the ceremony date.
  • Affirm you receive participation letter and marching instructions via CougarMail.
  • Order commencement announcements via Herff Jones.
  • Contact your location or Academic Affairs to inquire about honor society cords if applicable (Latin honors will be awarded the day of the ceremony).

A professional photographer at the ceremony will take pictures of graduates when presented with their diploma. Order forms will be sent to graduates in advance and will be available at the ceremony. Graduates can order their caps and gowns, printed announcements or rings through the Herff-Jones website. The venue will notify students when regalia is available for pick-up. Doors open one hour before the ceremony begins. Call your location if you need special accommodations. Wheelchair seating guaranteed with advance booking. Ushers are ready to assist you.
