Why Study Sustainability?

The global shift towards sustainable practices has created a booming job market in renewable energy, environmental consulting and corporate sustainability. This program not only equips you with interdisciplinary expertise in environmental science, economics and policy but also empowers you to address critical global issues like climate change and resource depletion. What You'll Learn 

Our interdisciplinary curriculum will provide you with a thorough understanding of sustainability from both natural and social science perspectives with courses such as atmospheric sciences, resource management and ecology, as well as environmental politics, public policy and environmental literature.

Upon completing this degree, you will be able to:
  • Master scientific terminology and concepts related to biology, chemistry and environmental science within the context of sustainability.
  • Analyze the complex interactions between scientific, social and economic factors in sustainability.
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative research methods to address sustainability challenges.
  • Interpret and critically evaluate scientific data using statistical analysis.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in finding, utilizing and assessing scientific literature and primary research.
  • Address and navigate key ethical issues in environmental science and sustainability with informed insight.
