ColorShift and Storytelling Through Costume Camp

Experience the Magic of Color in Costume Design

Dive into the world of cinema and explore how different colors and hues in costumes can shape characters, set moods and make heroes and villains unforgettable. Through hands-on activities, you’ll discover how costume design is more than just fashion—it’s an important part of storytelling!

Grade Levels: 9th - 12th
Type of Camp: Full day (9:00am - 4:00pm)
Price: $125.00
Dates: July 14 – 18, 2025
Registration Deadline: June 30, 2025

Take a closer look at five beloved films and analyze how costume colors bring characters to life, discuss what different shades mean and imagine how changing a character’s outfit hues could transform an entire scene.

Then you’ll get the chance to reimagine a character’s costume and see how that shifts the storytelling. Join us for a week of immersing yourself in creativity, film analysis and costume design—you’ll never look at movie costumes the same way again!

Camp scholarships are available, but spots are limited. To secure your spot in the camp, please complete paid registration.
