Practice character readings, create character accessories, work to design a simple background scene, and put on a one-act reader’s theater production.
This camp provides a magnificent opportunity for campers to become immersed in a magical theater production. Our campers will learn to dramatically articulate a character, construct simple props and scenery, and put on a one-act production.
At the Fantastical World of Reader's Theater camp, campers will increase their reading fluency and confidence as they work together to bring the fantastical production to life. Our campers will practice their character readings, create character accessories, and work together to design a simple background scene. By the end of the week, campers will have the skills and confidence to put on a one-act reader’s theater production for friends and family at the camp finale.
