Dr. Sarah Shawver received her B.S. in Soil Science and Wildlife Ecology at University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, her M.S. in Ag & Natural Resources at Tarleton State University, and her Ph.D. in Crop, Soils, & Environmental Sciences at Virginia Tech. Her research focused on the impact of antibiotics in cattle manure on soil microbial communities.
Dr. Shawver joined Columbia College as an Assistant Professor of Biology in 2022. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tabletop and board games, crafting, and spoiling her pets.
